While my older sister was visiting over the Christmas holidays we escaped the rest of our families and went out for dinner just the two of us. I think it was the second time I've been out for a meal without kids since my second was born, and maybe only the third or fourth since becoming a parent.
We ended up at a place called Gothenburg and I had my first tapas experience.
We had Blanched edamame beans with crushed sea salt
Pan fried chorizo, mozzarella, and warm ciabatta
Hungarian Langos with roasted garlic, capers, chilli oil, coriander and feta
Pork Gyoza with hot and sour dipping sauce
We also ordered Seared tuna with citrus carpaccio, hot peanut oil and fresh herbs but they couldn't source any fresh tuna so we had the same dish with salmon.
We had Churros con chocolate for dessert, although we did send them back as the middle of the churros were undercooked and doughy but the 2nd batch was well cooked.
I ended off the night with a hot chocolate.
