G is for Gumball

letter of the week

We completed letter G in one day.  George is really on a roll with his letters, at this rate we'll be finished the Letter of the Week curriculum in less than 2 months.

We started with playdough and made the letter G.  Playdough is great as it keeps Grace happy playing next to us while I get some one on one time with George.

Wet dry try.  George surprised me this time and used his left hand when he normally favours his right for writing.  While he does form his letters better with his right hand I'm not going to tell him with hand to use.

Grace wanted a go at lacing as well.  With a little bit of help starting she did really well.

Colour by numbers.  This was Georges first time doing this, he did well.  I did have to change the colours to match markers we actually have.

The letter G is now hanging on our letter tree.
